My mission has always been to help people, sometimes to my financial detriment. As my hero Roger Staubach would say, “put the customer first and the money will follow”. I am the son of a manufacturer’s rep. I enjoy learning about my clients’ business and understanding their challenges. Never occupying the landlord side of the business, I was never about “finding space”. To my customers there was always so much more to offer…
All business relies on personal relationships. At a defining point in my career, I determined that I wanted to treat my customers as friends.
As a tenant advisor, I have always been property-neutral. It doesn’t matter where my clients conduct business, only that they succeed. Real estate may be the last industry disrupted by the internet. Today the concept of office space resides online, in a Zoom meeting or a Google meet. The pandemic has eradicated the meaning of office space. What is an office? Where is it located? Why do we have/need it? How does it serve the business? How often do we congregate? Where does that happen? How can we do this safely? How much will it cost?
